About Friends & Family

This feature allows for Bright Breaks members to invite people from outside of your organization to have their own Bright Breaks account.  The number of invites per member depends on the amount determined when this feature was added to your organization's Bright Breaks instance. 

What friends & family members invited can do: 

• Create their own account with the email address the member used to invite them
• Access all live and on-demand content
• Join live breaks with all existing Bright Breaks members, including those from your organization

What friends & family members invited cannot do: 

• Participate in or see the leaderboard of your organization's quests or challenges
• Participate in or see your organization's private breaks
• Participate in or see the leaderboard of Bright Breaks' weekly draws
• See information about your organization, including the email address or the organization name of the person who invited them. See the invitation email here. 

Engagement Metrics

Today, the engagement metrics of Friends & Family is not shown in the Champion Portal, but can be shared outside of the platform upon request. 

It is on the roadmap to build a separate section in the Champion Portal to display Friends & Family engagement data.

Script: 

⭐ NEW: Share Bright Breaks with Friends & Family!

Have you ever wished someone you cared about could benefit from our virtual well-being platform, Bright Breaks?

Now you can make it happen! 🎉

Invite up to ____ people from outside <Org Name> to create their very own Bright Breaks account and be able to: 

• Access all of the live and on-demand content on Bright Breaks
• Accept invitations to join you in live breaks and vice versa!
• Use the Daily Break feature to get breaks suggested in their calendar every day (optional)

They will not see your <work/school> email address, our organization name, or be added to breaks suggestions in your calendar unless you invite them. 

How to Send Invites: 

• Click the three orange horizontal lines in the top right corner in Bright Breaks on your web browser
• Click 'Invite Friends' 
• Click '+Add a friend or family member'
• Give the person you're inviting a heads up that an email will be sent to them from support@brightbreaks.com with the link to create their account
